23 Nov Manchester: Top 3 Unique Wedding Venues
We’re doing a series of blog posts this month about the most unique and interesting places to get hitched in the UK and are kicking proceedings off with Manchester. Since we’re north west wedding video providers, we thought the north the best place to begin! Here are our top three. Manchester Museum Churches are beautiful and traditional and make for great photographs, but there’s something really rather special about being able to say your vows under the shadow of a giant tyrannosaurus rex, don’t you think? The Grade II-listed museum has been a popular choice for brides and grooms for years, since you can get married and have your reception surrounded by all sorts of fascinating artefacts from the past. Victoria Baths Victoria Baths is just one of Manchester’s architectural delights and really is an absolutely stunning building – great for wedding photography, that’s for certain! It’s super popular for weddings so hurry if you want to say I do before 2018, but always look out for cancellations or week day availability as you never know. The Deaf Institute This music hall and café is a staple on the Manchester music scene but what you might not know is that it’s also available for wedding receptions. Its quirky and stylish décor lends itself particularly well to parties, so if you and your other half love to boogie, then this is the place to do it. The cuckoo clocks, velvet seats, cool wallpaper and chandeliers make for amazing wedding photos as well. The perfect choice!
