‘Majority’ Of Wedding Nights Are Pretty Tame!

If you thought you and your new partner would whisk yourselves off for some quiet time after booking the best provider of wedding videos Cheshire has available and saying your vows in front of your friends and family, guess again. Research has just revealed that the vast majority – some 67 per cent of you – actually don’t manage to consummate the marriage on the actual wedding night. Carried out by events company Chillisauce, more popular pastimes for newlyweds on the night of the wedding are actually getting drunk, dancing with your guests and then just falling asleep. Some of the odder pastimes for couples at their weddings were also revealed, with the top five including playing Scrabble, singing karaoke, heading off to the local pub, going clubbing and disappearing off for a midnight swim. For the guests themselves, however, it is a rather different story, with the study finding that almost 80 per cent of women had got lucky at a wedding, while 25 per cent of people said they met their current partner at the ceremony. While there’s no doubt a lot of pressure on couples to consummate the marriage just after they’ve got hitched, don’t feel bad if you don’t have the time to sneak off. You’ll be very busy on the day and come the evening time you’ll be completely exhausted so why not take the pressure off yourselves completely and make a pact not to do it until the day after? It’s important that you enjoy your wedding day to the fullest so do whatever you have to do to make sure you have the best day of your lives.
